Bright, open and airy, our lobby is designed to give you and your pet lots of room.

While we try our best not to keep you waiting, rest assured that you won't be crowded by other pets if you do have to wait minute or two. We know this is especially important for our feline patients, who do not want to be sitting next to a dog.

While you're in our lobby, don't forget to notice the hand-painted tiles. Our staff, friends and family painted these, and we're delighted with how they turned out. See how many animals you can identify!

Efficient and comfortable, our exam rooms are designed to give our veterinarians and staff the best access to each pet, while keeping the animals on secure footing.

The rooms are also designed for privacy, to allow thorough and honest discussions of your concerns.

Just outside the exam rooms you'll find the scale. Since obesity is a problem in many pets, we'll get a weight on your pet each time you come in. It'll all part of our emphasis on wellness, and on preventive care.

Everything from minor procedures to dog-washing takes place in this large central area.

We've designed multiple work stations, with both counters and a "wet table" --really, a big sink -- to accommodate whatever we need to do.

In this area you'll also find a lot of storage, both of equipment and of many of our Animal Wellness Center's own labeled herbal and nutritional supplements. Those diagnostic tests we can do on-site are performed in this area, as well.

Just off this room, we have a small area for the quarantine of animals who may be harboring a contagious disease. It's designed to be quiet and secure for their benefit, and to keep them away from any other animals.

These stainless-steel cages are thoroughly cleaned between patients, so your pet will always have a safe place to rest while at the Animal Wellness Center.

Stainless steel is easy to keep clean, but it can be cool to rest on. That's why we line each cage with fresh newspapers topped by a freshly laundered polyester "sheepskin" throw before putting your pet inside. Great for snuggling!

The dog-run area is designed to make our canine patients feel right at home.

Each run is separated from the next by a wall, so patients aren't stressed out by a next-door neighbor. The runs are also easy to clean, so our patients get a fresh-smelling place to bide their time while they're at the Animal Wellness Center.

A clean and newly laundered bed is put in each dog's run, to ensure a comfortable place to rest.

Everything from routine minor surgeries to major life-saving procedures are done here, in our operating room.

Our veterinarians pride themselves on their surgical skills, and we offer the safest anesthetic agents plus the latest in traditional and alternative post-operative pain control techniques.

Like most veterinary practices, the Animal Wellness Center offers a full range of prescription diets to help control various health problems.
